The next Phase of Morristown Airport’s Runway 5-23 Rehabilitation Project, Phase XI, is scheduled from July 28 through August 30.*
Phase XI of the Runway 5-23 Rehabilitation Project consists of runway paving totaling 2,500 feet from south of Taxiway Echo to north of Taxiway Foxtrot. Work involves milling, asphalt grade correction and base and top course asphalt layers. Similar work will take place on Runway 13-31 and Taxiways Echo, Bravo and Foxtrot within the Runway 5-23 safety areas.
Airfield Impacts
- Runway 5-23 CLOSED entirety of Project | July 28 – August 30
- Airport CLOSED to fixed-wing traffic | August 25 – August 30
- Runway 13-31 OPEN all dates except during fixed-wing traffic closure
