Phase XI of the Runway 5-23 Rehabilitation Project is underway. Runway 5-23 CLOSED until August 30 (reopening time TBD). Airport closed to fixed-wing traffic from 2200L on August 24 through August 30 (reopening time TBD).

Phase XI of the Runway 5-23 Rehabilitation Project consists of runway paving totaling 2,500 feet from south of Taxiway Echo to north of Taxiway Foxtrot. Work involves milling, asphalt grade correction and base and top course asphalt layers. Similar work will take place on Runway 13-31 and Taxiways Echo, Bravo and Foxtrot within the Runway 5-23 safety areas.

Airfield Impacts

  • Runway 5-23 CLOSED entirety of Project | 2200L on July 27 through August 30 (reopen time TBD)
  • Airport CLOSED to fixed-wing traffic | 220L on August 24 through August 30 (reopen time TBD)
  • Runway 13-31 OPEN from July 27 – August 24 at 2200L
