What is Aviation Exploring?

Aviation Exploring at Morristown Municipal Airport is a program that young adults with an interest in Aviation, ages 14 (and have completed eighth grade) or 15 through 20 years old can participate in. This program allows young adults to increase their aviation knowledge and experience the Aviation industry first hand.

  • Include on college resumes
  • Hands-on experience

 

Meeting Dates and Information:

 

Meetings are held at Morristown Municipal Airport in the Airport Administration Building or can be held at an off-site location every third Tuesday of each month, at 7pm.

 

Meeting activities may include: guest speakers, practice flying a simulator, helicopter tours, airplane tours, ARFF tours, trips to Air Force bases, aviation museums, air shows, airports, or FAA facilities.
