NO Summer Closures at MMU Due to Runway Construction Postponement

With the Runway 5-23 Keel Repair Project being postponed due to New Jersey State Funding Issues, there will be NO SUMMER CLOSURES at MMU as previously anticipated.

Our team at DM AIRPORTS, LTD. will be coordinating a new construction schedule when the funding issue with the Transportation Trust Fund (TFF) is resolved. However, there will be no closures through the remainder of the Summer at Morristown Airport.

Although the issue with the postponement was beyond our control, we sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this construction being rescheduled has caused.

For more information, and for how to get in touch with us, please read the statement below from our Operations Department.

The Runway 5-23 Keel project has been postponed until such time that the State of New Jersey re-establishes funding through the Transportation Trust Fund (TFF).

Once funding has been re-established, DM AIRPORT’S LTD will coordinate a new construction schedule with our tenants. We will try our best to develop a schedule that works for everyone, but there will be impacts that we may not be able to avoid.

DM AIRPORTS, LTD apologizes for any issues this postponement has caused. Unfortunately, the failure of our State’s leadership to resolve this issue has impacted us all. We will continue to keep you advised as new information becomes available.
